Welcome to Happy Hounds Boarding and Grooming, located in Dayton, Tennessee.  I hope you will take some time to browse through the photos which show that we will care for your pet as an individual with plenty of one on one attention and lots of TLC.  Our aim at Happy Hounds is that although there is no place like home we will try and make your pets  stay as comfortable and fun as possible.  We will care for your pet with kindness and will place their welfare above all other business considerations.   Your pet will be cozy and happy in a climate controlled indoor kennel and covered outdoor run which overlooks an attractive garden. Our kennel has a gravel exercise area, where your dog can play, relax, or receive some well-earned TLC from our conscientious staff.  Our indoor Kitty Lounge  is equipped with condos, toys and other items to keep the most curious cat entertained and happy. Paddling pools are provided for your pet to splash around and cool off.  In the summer of 2008 we will have a large pool and play area for your pets.      Sugar and Tucker, new friends.  Chloe and Jack also new pals.  A short air conditioned car ride takes your pet to our field and stream walk. Your pets will be leashed at all times on the walk.  On our nature walk we have a 5ft chainlink fenced, 300 x 100 flat grassy area where the dogs can go off leash, have a good run, fetch a ball and play with their new friends. If your furry friend is low energy or elderly they can stroll around the kennel paddock and take it easy in our air conditioned lounge. Kaiaser enjoying some relaxation.  What a softy.   In addition to boarding your pets, we also offer complete grooming services.  Our groomer Sarah has been trained by the London Academy of Dog Grooming.  Grooming gets booked up well in advance and to avoid disappointment regular standing appointments every 6 - 8 weeks are advised. We look forward to welcoming your pets to our establishment.  For more information about the Kennel, as well as boarding requirements, see the Kennel Information page.  BOARDING HOURS: 8:00 AM - 12:00 noon & 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday; 8:00 AM - 12:00 noon on Saturday, and 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM on Sunday.  The kennel is closed for quiet time between 12 - 4 pm. GROOMING HOURS: Monday through Saturday, by appointment only.
